Really this blog will be about a little of everything that is going on in my little head, my thoughts, maybe what I did during the day or just a simple quote. So you never know what will happen day by day. The key thing is, I can talk and talk and talk and just pretend someone is listening...lol..
So anyway enough of the boring stuff...lol....Today is Monday and Im counting down the 10 days til my birthday...YEP the big 45!!!! Yes, I know, I don't look a day over 25, its ok...the genetics are killa in my family which includes West Indies, Native American, African American and of course Caucasian. I guess when you pour them all in a pot you get nice genetic beauty..Yes Im a confident person, don't be hating on a sister. lol
Anyway I'm excited about my upcoming book, "Tell Prince Charming to Keep that Slipper! I'm Standing on my Own Two Feet"
and having so much fun doing it. Its a different twist than my normal relationships book and I think its going to reach out to a broader audience. Usually I write for Christian single women, but this book is more focused on self esteem issues, personality traits, relationships and a few other things, but of course since this the world wide web, I cant tell you too much..(pssst..yessss..people steal the smallest thing and run with it)!
Oh and another thing, please know I have the freedom of totally ignoring all grammar rules here, (that's what Editors are for). I will write a run-on sentence in a minute and keep it stepping...so all you English majors, editors and such start your engines and start cringing...you will be fine. Just relax your minds for a minute.
Well just a tad bit more and I will stop rambling, besides writing my book, I'm ready to make some major life changes, which are great. Of course you all will know soon enough a few of them. I try living a life that's adventurous, empowering, and pleasing to GOD most importantly. I like helping people who are down and out because Lord knows we all living on a prayer. I'm in NYC for a season then its back to the South I go. I miss the country, well suburbia really....not much of a cows and chickens type of gal, but I do appreciate the single family cul de sacs and affordable housing!!
lol...but now things are expensive everywhere so you just make the best of things. But the biggest thing, I gotta get to my lil grandson,
and the rest of my crew:
Taylor, Courtney and Chandler...who I call 'Muh chilluns"..lol
